What is Seppo?

Seppo is an online platform where teachers can create educational games. It is a unique way to combine gamification, mobile technology and teamwork. Students take an active role in their learning and use 21st century skills while playing.

Underlying pedagogy

Seppo–pedagogy is based on experimental learning.

The students are sent outside the classroom to explore real world phenomena in their true context. They will study the subject in hand in teams while learning skills needed in society such as problem solving, creativity, technology and team work. Seppo gives possibility for teachers to motivate students to learn in a fun and new way.

Many people are assured that a large part of learning and teaching will be moved outside of the classroom in the near future.
